What Are You Actually Carrying?

What Are You Actually Carrying?

After you laid some things down, you might’ve expected to feel lighter — maybe even free. And maybe you did. But if you’re honest, you might’ve also felt exposed. A little uncertain. Like, “Okay God, I’m not carrying all that anymore… but now what?”

That space left behind can feel strange. We get so used to the weight of control, fear, expectations — even people — that we forget God never asked us to carry those things to begin with.

So what does He want you to carry?

He wants you to carry faith — not certainty.
That’s hard, especially if you’re someone who likes a plan. But faith grows when there’s trust, not when there’s clarity.

He wants you to carry peace — not pressure.
The kind that doesn't make sense on paper, but somehow holds your soul steady when life feels chaotic.

He wants you to carry love — not control.
Not fixing, rescuing, or managing outcomes. Just showing up with grace and truth, even when it’s messy.

He gives you truth — not to fight with, but to anchor you.
And He hands you your assignment — not the outcome.
That shift alone can change everything.

If your hands feel a little empty right now, don’t panic. That space was never meant to stay empty. It was meant to be filled with what’s holy, what’s light, what’s actually yours.

So take a deep breath.
You’re not behind.
You’re not missing it.
You’re just learning to carry the right things.

Let’s keep walking this out — together.
Light hands. Full hearts. And peace that makes no sense at all.
